Apadana was created to fulfill a commitment that we made to our children. They challenged us to leave them a healthier planet — one they can pass on to their children. And so we embraced this challenge, bringing together a unique set of people, products and capabilities that provide not only energy conservation, but practical sustainable energy generation to our customers.
As electrical and mechanical engineers, we have appreciation for the challenges facing facility owners as they make often substantial investments to enhance their environmental stewardship while simultaneously improving their bottom line. Our mission is to focus on both sides of this equation, benefiting the planet and customer’s bottom line profits.

Each year, Xcel Energy recognizes trade partner companies that submitted customer projects through Xcel Energy’s energy efficiency rebate programs that resulted in the largest amount of energy savings during each calendar year. Apadana is proud to have received this award for Business Lighting Efficiency for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Over those four years, our customer lighting retrofit projects saved well over One Million kilowatt hours of electricity.
Energy Efficiency Partner Awards
Apprentice Program
Apadana is committed to the development of the next generation of licensed electricians. We recognize that in addition to formalized training, on-the-job experience under the guidance of a knowledgeable licensed electrician, is a key ingredient for developing highly qualified electricians to serve our customers.
Apprenticeship programs have proven to be an effective means of creating a dedicated workforce of skilled trade professionals while lowering turnover rates that creates stability; lowers incidents of on-the-job accidents and injuries; improves the quality of work, improving customer satisfaction and eliminating call-backs; and increases worker productivity resulting in lower labor costs on customer projects.
Apadana, in conjunction with the Electrical Training Network of
Minnesota, has launched its own apprentice program. This program offers Apadana apprentice employees with four years on education coupled with day-to-day oversight from our crew of master and journeyman electricians. We are proud to be contributing to the future of the electrician workforce.
